Charity fundraising in our local community
At Russell Scanlan, we are huge supporters of both our home city of Nottingham and the wider region in which we live and work, which is why it is incredibly important to us to support our local charities and causes that provide essential services to our communities.
Each year, we support a chosen charity and take a proactive approach to raise funds as a team. It is always an incredibly rewarding experience for the business, and we have seen first-hand how our fundraising efforts make a difference to the charity.
In 2024, we have chosen to support Spectrum WASP a charity that offers regional assistance to parents with children and young people on the autistic spectrum. Currently, it supports 332 children between the ages of 5 and 18 across Nottinghamshire, providing regular fun activities, encouraging new friendships, development, growth, confidence and new skills.

Support through sponsorship
Supporting our local sporting clubs, groups and teams, at both grassroots and national level, is in our DNA – and we are certainly proud to be a long-standing commercial sponsor of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.
We also regularly sponsor a range of events, groups and good causes in our local communities – ranging from beer festivals to children’s sports teams and individual players.
Through our niche insurance specialisms with breweries and venue management, we are also business sponsors of the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) and Nottingham Playhouse.
